DC charging is preferred anywhere that faster charging is needed because of the higher power available. Chargers can deliver anything from 24kW to over 150kW and are found at highway service areas, supermarkets, and parking lots at various other commercial enterprises, as well as at educational, medical, and governmental facilities. Charge point operators and installers must decide what to order from charge point manufacturers for these public charging environments.
